How to monitor an oval tank using our tankmonitoring systems?

Ovale tanks look like cylindrical tanks but are slightly different. They are not very frequent but are fully compatible with our measuring system. These tanks are more frequent at the residential level than at the level of tanks present in the industrial sector.

When installing our products, after checking the connectivity, you will be asked to encode the dimensions of your oval tank. On this basis, the measured distance will be converted to volume. This encoding is simple and only takes a few clicks. You will still need a meter to measure distances.

To encode the dimensions of your tank, you just need in the application to select aerial tank and oval tank as you can see in the diagram below.

 

The distances indicated on the diagram will be asked to you in order to estimate the total volume of your tank of fuel oil, oil, rain water, ...

 

At the size of the adapter, the maximum height validable is 7 centimeters. Beyond this, the measurement can be altered and it is advisable to drill into the tank to avoid problems of measurement instability.
